JEX INFORMATION MEETING FOR 4TH GRADE JIP: APRIL 27
Thursday, April 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the Library
The Japanese Immersion Exchange Program (also known as JEX), which began in 1997, allows eligible 5th graders an opportunity to experience life and culture in Japan. The trip takes place during the summer after graduation and includes a two-week stay with a Japanese host family while attending a Japanese school and taking field trips in the Kansai area.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all 4th grade parents interested in having their child participate in next year’s exchange program. We will provide an overview of the program and requirements, answer questions, and distribute application forms.
If you are interested in having your child participate but are not able to attend, you must contact Stacey Camara (firstname.lastname@example.org) PRIOR to the meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!
