This training is open to any parent that would like to learn more about how to check and treat for lice. Our new School Nurse, Jessica Parel, RN, would like all lice check volunteers in attendance, whether veteran or new. It is important to Student Health Services that the communication regarding lice is uniform and transparent, and that our documentation is correct and confidential.
In the event a volunteer can not attend the training on 9/15, they must schedule a private meet and greet with Jessica so she can go over her main points. Jessica's goal is to meet with all of the volunteers in order to qualify them for checking during the 2015-2016 school year. She is available on our campus on Mondays and Tuesdays.
