Bring Recorder Every Tuesday!

Math EXTRA CREDIT!  

Go on a shopping trip with a family member or friend.  While shopping, keep a "running tally" in your head (or you can jot it down on paper if you want) of the estimated cost of the items you are purchasing.  Compare your estimation with the total cost at the cash register.  Was your estimation close?  Was it over or under the total cost?  Write a brief description about the experience and have a parent sign it.  Have fun!  (If you don't do any shopping this weekend, you can conduct your estimation sometime this week!)
