Thank you for signing up on the first day of school to be a room parent in your child's class! Almost half of the classes have their room parents in place. Double thanks to those of you who have two children at El Marino and signed up for more than one class!
I know that some of you are experienced room parents and I thought I better contact you asap about the classroom roster. I've attached here an excel template that I'll need filled out with your parent information. I realize that you may want different information on your classroom roster but for my purposes (and for Silent Auction) this is all I need. Please feel free to email me your roster in this template when you have it completed. If a family has more than one email, I'll need each entry on a separate line.
We've scheduled a room parent orientation for this Friday, September 3rd in the auditorium right after drop off. We'll go over responsibilities and hand out your room parent folder that has various sign up sheets for your classroom.
If you can't make the meeting, I'll put your class folder (1 per class) in the BLACK BOX labeled Room Parent on top of the cubbies in the auditorium. Your folder will be filed under your teacher's name.
