Culver City celebrates 40 years of language immersion with a three-day celebration. Come out and celebrate this amazing milestone! Learn more about your child’s dual language immersion education from expert panelists and hear from alumni about how learning a second language has impacted their lives. In the evening, educator Yong Zhao will deliver the keynote about what is a global education. The symposium is open to the public so make sure you purchase discounted tickets now for this heartening and informative event. All proceeds benefit Advocates for Language Learning, El Marino.

Quilt Fundraiser Raffle
To help pay for the anniversary celebration, Madeline Ehrlich has made and donated a one-of-a-kind quilt to be raffled off at the Reunion. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. To see a picture of the quilt and download the raffle form, please click here.
Reunion Celebration
Help us find our alumni 1971 – 2010! Right now we have found 287 alumni from the SIP and JIP program – a drop in the bucket! Help us to spread the word and invite alumni to the Reunion Celebration. They can rsvp via Facebook or by emailing [email protected].
Call for Craft Art Booths
On Sunday, May 15th at the 40th Anniversary Reunion Celebration we are offering booths to sell your wares! Jewelry, Arts and Crafts, Clothing, Photography, tarot card reading – whatever it is you do, We Want You! Booth Space is limited so please apply ASAP.
Here's the skinny:
Date: Sunday, May 15th
Time: 11:00am – 3:00pm
(Dedication in front of school starts at 10:30am)
Cost: $25 Booth Price
(Must bring own table, chairs, umbrella/tent if needed)
Misc: Parking/Unloading in smaller El Marino Parking Lot off of Diller
All booth fees benefit Advocates for Language Learning, El Marino, sponsor of the 40th Anniversary Celebration.
