In Los Angeles on Saturday, May 7th, Team El Marino will participate in the 5K Revlon Run/Walkevent at the LA Memorial Coliseum to help raise funds for cancer research. Marla Rothfarb is leading Team El Marino in its 4th year and we hope you can participate and walk or run with us. We've had such an amazing time and we'd love to see the continued support.
"With one in three women predicted to develop cancer in her lifetime, everyone has felt the effect of women's cancers. Now it's time for women's cancer to feel the impact of us- our determination, our strength, our optimism, our refusal to surrender. In a word, a word that the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women embodies uniquely every year... our Womentum."

- Registering with Team El Marinofor this year’s event and be a part of helping to defeat women’s cancers
- Helping to raise fundsfor the Run/Walk beneficiaries so they can continue with life saving research and provide valuable services to the women in our lives – our mothers, sisters, aunts and daughters
- Donating to Team El Marinoif you can't make the event
Sally Copeland (parent of a 5th grade SIP student and current CCHS student) was Team El Marino's honoree in 2009. Sally is undergoing treatment again and we will honor her once again in 2011.

The registration fee is nominal (compared to some of the 2 and 3 day walks). Every penny (NOT including registration) goes towards one of EIF's beneficiaries. Truly, the money that is raised is not going in an executive's pocket - another reason to feel good about this organization.
