Showing Kindness & Respect in our community & Bully Prevention
All week long students will be engaging in a coordinated effort of classroom lessons, discussions, guided readings, writing and art projects plus an assembly that will focus on teaching children to show kindness & respect as well as preventing bullying or exclusion. There are many ways to participate…
Students Wear Red Wednesday to show solidarity against bullying and exclusion.
Use the information from the Parent Handout in your child’s folder this week for discussion-starters about bullying, exclusion and the standards of conduct at school and at home.
Use the Behaviors Chart on the Parent Handout to help your child identify and develop strategies for rude, mean or bullying behavior.
During the week, look for your child’s Home/School Connection homework due back Friday with their regular homework packet.
